Q: I had a DUI violation in May 06. I had my Pennsylvania driver's license suspended for a year. I never got the interlock device put on my car because of funds. I should have gotten my license back on 21 Nov. 08. That would be two years since I surrendered it. One year suspension and what I thought was another for not getting the interlock. Never received it.
A: That is because you are required to get the interlock license even though you were not getting the device installed on your car.
You can serve the year of interlock suspension without getting the device, but to get pa drivers license suspension credit for that year you need to have the interlock license issued to you.
Give me a call at my office and we can discuss this further and decide if there is anything I can do to help.
