School Is Out But School Speed Zones Remain!

School is out for summer in almost all schools in Pennsylvania, but those flashing school zone lights remain in some areas. Please remember that if the lights are flashing, you are REQUIRED to follow the posted speed limit, no matter if you think the school is closed or not.

Do not assume there is no summer sessions, camps, or programs going on. Children may be present and your speed could be the difference between a horrible accident and a near miss.

Police will not hesitate to stop you if you are speeding through a school zone, so keep an eye out for those kids, and the flashing school zone lights!
