License Restoration Services Inc. donates to Loaves and Fishes this holiday season.

After reading an article on a local food bank hurting for food through this holiday season, License Restoration Services Inc. as a team decided to make a donation to Loaves and Fishes in Prospect Park, PA.

Loaves and Fishes celebrated 8 years of providing food and items to those in need in the Delco community. In that time they have provided over 180,000 meals!

We pack boxes of food that provide three meals a day for eight days for every member of a family. These are nutritionally balanced boxes, containing fruits, vegetables, starches, soups, cereal, canned meats, fresh meats, and a variety of other products as we have them. We try to always have a dairy item, such as cheese or margarine, to complete the box and thanks to a grant from the Taylor Community Foundation we offer fresh produce each time we are open.

This Delaware County Pennsylvania charity goes beyond the food drive by spending the spring and summer months collecting school supplies and handing them out to school children who may not be able to get every item they need to have a successful school year.

If you are looking to help in our local community I urge you to consider a donation of time, money, or food to the Delco chapter of Loaves and Fishes.
